Applications

Not everyone who applies gets a seat.

Most programs at this price take anyone who pays. We read every application and speak to people before offering a place.

The selection is our work rather than a formality. You come for the faculty, and then spend the program learning as much from the person on your left and the person on your right. That only pays off if someone has done the job of deciding who is in the room.

How it works

Four steps, about two weeks.

  1. One

    You apply

The questions are short and we read every answer. Tell us what you are actually working on and what you want to be able to do afterwards. A one-line answer tells us as much as a long one, and usually not in your favor.

  2. Two

    We review it

Every application, usually within a few days. We are looking for people with a real decision in front of them and enough authority to act on what they learn.

  3. Three

    We talk

If it looks like a fit we set up a short call. It runs both ways: you should come away knowing whether this is right for you, and we would rather tell you it is not than take your money.

  4. Four

    We build the cohort

Thirty seats, chosen so the room has range without losing common ground. You will be able to speak plainly with everyone in it.

What we are looking for: a real decision or mandate in front of you, enough authority to act on what you learn, and the willingness to put your own situation in front of the room. Seniority helps. It is not the test.
